Policy

Boston Horns strongly encourage audience recording.

Audio cassette and Mini-disc recording of Boston Horns live shows is permitted for personal, noncommercial, home use only. Live tapes & discs are a great way to spread our music around, and that's good for everyone. Sale of your recordings of band live performances is not allowed. But trading live tapes and discs or just giving them away is always a beautiful thing. And please feel free share your live recordings with the band!

We recommend that you bring microphones and battery powered portable tape and mini-disc machines. We can not offer access to soundboard patches. We often do not control the soundboard at the venues hiring us, and in all cases the soundboard people are very busy trying to get the show on. Please keep clear of the working crew at all venues. They are working hard, against time, and often in difficult circumstances. They appreciate your respect and consideration.

Some things that are never allowed at Boston Horns shows are: CD-R's, large mixers, reel to reel, home decks, extension cords, etc.

Please respect the wishes of the band and the crew and feel free to ask questions and make comments. Our goal is to make audience recording a key part of our live shows. Your common sense and respect is helping to make this goal a reality. Thanks.
